Here at Karen's Naturals we specialize in products made for people with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) and others who need fragrance-free, chemical-free personal care products. Our products work well not only for those with MCS, but also for people with health issues such as asthma, allergies, skin sensitivities, migraines, Gulf War Syndrome, fibromyalgia and those undergoing chemotherapy. All of our products have been developed through the valuable input and testing of people who live with MCS and other sensitivities every day.

We offer a full line of products that have proven to be very well tolerated among most in these communities. We never use any kind of fragrance—natural or synthetic. Our products are even formulated without the use of herbs, as many of them carry their own scent. We have done everything within our means to create some of the most fragrance-free, scent-free, chemical-free products on the market. Even the environment our products are made and packaged in is extremely fragrance-free. This makes us very unique among the personal care industry.

Karen's Naturals was born out the need for a conditioner that was safe enough for someone with MCS to use. Along with that goal came a lot of trial and error, long hours and a passion to create products that were safe for everyone regardless of health condition. That vision, together with the encouragement of four small-town Arizona women with MCS who needed natural, simple, unscented personal care products at an affordable cost, turned my previous soap-making hobby into Karen’s Naturals.

Since its inception in 2002 I’ve remained excited about and committed to the difference our products are making in peoples’ lives. In 2009 I hired my first employee, Valerie. She has MCS and is partly why I began making the products I do. For those who like a story, there’s a brief synopsis of our beginning in the Almond & Apricot Conditioner description. The new website was also launched in 2009, along with a new logo. While we’re both thrilled about the changes, you may have noticed we have a lot of work left to do when it comes to straightening out the website and getting the labels updated with the new logo. We’re a very small business and the quality of products comes first so please be patient with us while we’re tidying up.
